Make sure you have RERA approval with Madmoun
The “Madmoun” is an electronic service set up to verify the authenticity and validity of advertising, ensuring that it has been approved by RERA. This service has been set up by the DLD, through the Real Estate Regulatory. If they wish, customers can access the DLD website.
It can be accessed via the Trakheesi system, which is managed by the Dubai Land Department. This service is a quick response code (QR Code).
DLD is setting up this service to continue its efforts to modernize and develop its real estate governance procedures and strengthen investor relations.
The strategy aims to make Dubai “the world leader in real estate investment” according to Marwan Bin Ghalita, Managing Director of RERA at DLD. It also supports Dubai’s vision of becoming a global leader in the digital economy and is in line with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Economic Agenda “D33”.
This QR Code also enables you to check whether the property has been sold or rented.
Via the DLD website, customers can access information about the advert, details of the advertising company and the condition of the property. The link can be secured to prevent modification. DLD recommends that all its customers only process advertisements with a QR Code. This will protect their rights and reduce the risk of unreliable or fraudulent transactions. It is therefore important to be transparent in the real estate sector. DLD is committed to providing quality services.
Real estate companies must activate the QR code to avoid any infringement and to guarantee the protection of customers’ and investors’ rights, the DLD strongly recommends the use of this service.
